About Us
Family House aims to provide accommodation for children and their families traveling to specialized hospitals in Tokyo for treatment, far from their homes.
A usual life, different from home or hospital.
We provide an alternative living environment – neither home nor hospital – tailored to the needs of families facing sudden and serious illnesses. Our aim is to create a “home away from home” and a new sense of belonging. Supported by numerous donors, volunteers, and diverse contributors, our ‘House’ initiative has been a beacon of support for these families.
Our dedicated team ensures that these children and their families can spend their usual lives in the houses we provide, fostering a supportive environment.
Continuing our commitment, we strive to sustain the daily lives of these families by offering accommodations at a nominal fee of 1,000 yen per night, working in collaboration with hospitals and various professionals.
